Beloved's first jumper course

OMW!

I've decided to become a JUMPER! WEEE! ^^ I bet most of you are like "Huh?" lol Well, I used to be (and still am in a way) a Hunter. In the riding world, thats a type of jumping. Jumpers is another, and I just decided to switch. In Hunters or Huntseat, you have to be slow and quiet over the jumps. Your image and that of your horse is everything. In Jumpers, all that matters is speed, accuracy, and not knocking down any poles. :)

Augh, I will warn you though, I generally have MUCH better equitation (form) then this! I look awful in this video!! Bare with me though, I was a lil bit nervous. Idk why lol, but I was. So ignore me and watch my beautiful horse. :) I luff her! She's awesome!

God's Been Good.....

The quality of my voice is still not the best. :( This dumb cold will not go away, but oh well. I've lived thru worse. :)

Wow, this song never ceases to amaze me. I've claimed it as my theme song, because God has been so wonderfully good in my life. I have wonderful parents, a great family, freinds most people would envy, a horse, something most girls my age dream of, and so many other things. And thats just the material things! I have the hope of a future in Heaven someday...eternity spent with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. :) That is the best of it all.

Our youth group went to Canobie Lake Park in NH yesterday. It was so much fun! I'll post pix of that as soon as someone send them to me. :)

School starts in less then 4 days! AH! I'm a little nervous about school, as I have never been to one. Seriously. I've been homeschooled all of my life. But going to this private school will be a good thing....at least someday when I get to college I won't freak out. ^^ lol

Ben and I have decided that we want to fly down to North Carolina by ourselves this summer and spend a week or two with our grandparents. :) It'll be great! We can get cheap tickets...Daddy knows a Delta caption!! ^^ I know, sweeeet.

Well I've babbled enough for now...enjoy the song. :-)

Silent Cry

This is a song I wrote called Silent Cry...IT IS COPYRIGHTED!! NO STEALING! lol Its not my best, meaning my voice. I'm getting over a cold, so its a little stuffy, but it'll do for now. :)

I started writing this song in April but was never really able to finish it until July. It's talking about an unsaved person. You see, God created man to want fellowship with Him. But Adam and Eve sinned, which put a barrier between that sweet, unsinful relationship. When God the Father sent his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins, he made that barrier crossable. But some people don't know how to cross it. Thats why we have so many fake religions in this world; man wants fellowship with God, but lots didn't understand how to get it. So instead of asking someone who knew, they created their own way.

In this song, an unsaved person is trying to find that fellowship, but does not know how to get it. Therefore, his heart is crying out to God and he (the man) doesn't even know it. His life feels empty, and nothing but God will fill the void. He is silently crying.

What really helped me to finish this song, was a trip with our youth group down to Boston, Massachusetts. We rode many subways there, and walked the streets all day. It was a wonderful, fun day, but so so sad. On the subway I would look around and so many people had this blank, lifeless stare in their eyes. I could see that so many of them were doing this very thing. Their heart was silently crying; crying for God, for rest for their hurting soul, for the hope of an eternity in Heaven.

I don't know who I am talking to, but I feel as though I must tell you this: Someday, your life is going to end. And when you die, you either go to one of two places; Heaven, or hell.

Heaven is described in the Bible as the most beautiful place ever created. Words can not describe its splendor and beauty! The streets are paved with gold, there are mansions for us to live in, but the best thing of all; God is there, and we can forever worship and praise him.

Hell, on the other hand, is a place of eternal torment. Have you ever been burned? Even just a little bit? It hurts doesn't it? It feels as though the pain will never stop, the throbing never subside. In hell, fires burn for eternity. They burn the people traped in their flames, the torment never stops. Don't believe me? Go to this website http://www.iknow4sure.com/. It has substancial amounts of studies on hell and scientific proof that it is a real place!

Now the question is, "How do you not go to hell?" The answer is simple really. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, came to earth to die on a cross. Do you know why He did that? Because in truth, we deserve to die. We deserve to rot in hell because of our sins. But Jesus didn't want that. There was no one perfect enough to pay the penalty for us, except for him. Would you die for someone? Lots of us, I'm sure, say, "I'd take a bullet for my family anf friends!" Would you really? If a gunman walked into your house, would you throw yourself in front of his gun and tell him to shoot you but let your family and friends go? We like to think we would, but many of us would not. Jesus selflessly died a cruel, harsh death, so that we could have the option of going to Heaven. All you have to do to get to Heaven, is admit that you are a sinner. In your heart of hearts, where no one but you and God can see, you have to believe beyond a shadow of doubt, that you are a worthless sinner and deserve to be thrown into hell's flames. When you come to that knowledge, you have to repent of those sins. Tell the Lord that you are sorry, and for goodness' sake MEAN IT! Don't haphazardly say that you are sorry, you know you don't mean it. Ask God to forgive you and this is the strangest thing, but it is the truth; He will forgive you immediatly. If you know you are a sinner and are truly sorry for your sins, God will forgive them and never think of them again. Your silent cry will turn to a cry of joy.

Still don't believe me? Does it sound to good to be true?

I admit, it does doesn't it? But thats what makes slavation all the more sweet. We don't deserve what Jesus has to offer, but He loves us enough to give it to us anyway.

I hope you enjoy my song. If you have questions about what I've written, leave me a comment and I'm sure we can talk somehow. I can give you a more details if you want them.

Uhhhh....lol

Me eating cookie dough ice cream..... I was sitting enjoying it, when Hannah says, "You look depressed!" I was like "huh?" and she said, "Well girls, when they are depressed, eat the ice cream out of the carton and cry!!" So I obliged her and sang a sad song while secretly enjoying my ice cream! ^^ I even managed a few tears! Don't ask me how lol
Michaila decided to look equally if not more depressed by eating ice cream, bon-bons, Lindts, and Doritoes. Ew. lol She even had a few tears herself! lol She didn't sing though. :)
Baxter enjoyed the attention he got as the only boy at our party. :) HES SO CUTE!!!

Bed Mechanics??

LOL!

We had a small problem with the bed....IT BROKE! LOL! Yep, and it just so happened to malfunction at about 12:47am. Joy. So Hannah and I had the brilliant idea to fix it with a nail from the barn. So, out to the barn we went, where we pried a rusty nail out of the wall, took it back inside, shoved it into the bed to keep it together and FIXED IT! WOOT! lol

It lasted till 9:13am before it broke again, and this time a rusty nail ain't gonna fix a thing. Oops. lol! Hannah and I will forever be bed mechanics though...she was runnin' right proper there fer a lil bit!

Last night we (Michaila, Megan [above], Hannah, Lydia and I) had the last sleepover of the summer. :( Sad in a way, but it was a lot of fun! Summer has flown by this year, but we have so mnay awesome memories!! :)

Have you ever wished you could be someone else? For a day, a week, a month or more? Well, for most of you this will come as no suprise but......
I wish I could be a horse.
Not for forever! But, for a little while. Think about it! They have relitivly easy lives! Well, most do. They eat all day, or sleep all day, they can run, jump, buck, & BE FREE! Free from life's struggles, worries, fears....*sigh*
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. If you don't have a blog....Get one for heaven's sake! ITS FREEEEEE! ^^ lol

Pix of Beloved free lounging

WOW!!!!!

What an awesome horse I have!!!!! ISN'T SHE GORGEOUS?!

Lizzy's near death experiance!

AHHHH!

My mare almost killed Lizz! :O lol!

IT WAS AWESOME! Well, not the part about Lizz almost, ya know, being squashed by a 1000lb horse, but the rest was pretty great! ;)

Breezy's Corn and Kate choking....lol

Tuesday at the barn I made this video...lol! Breezy (the pony) was having a heart attack cuz we were eating corn and she couldn't have any. So she was attacking us all. And Kate got to laughing to hard and started choking...lol Do not be alarmed, she is till alive. ;) And Stacey almost fell off...thats why you hear my cackling quite loudly at one point. She'd already been riding turned around like that once that day and she almost got bucked off, so it was funny. ^^ She could sit a bucking horse backwards but couldn't do an "around-the-world" standing still....lol I guess you had to be there. :) W.e it was funny to us! ^_^

Mama's window washing....

Oh. My. Word.

Last night Mama decided that she wanted to wash all of her windows. One in particular, was exceptionally dirty. It also happened to be the one with our 300lb AC in it. Not to worry though, the AC was also supported by four braces. (See above) So, she grabs her windex, opens the window and.....
Whoosh!
Out falls the AC. Mama stood there for one whole minute, just looking at the window. Then, she turned to my dad...and burst out laughing! I think it was a tad bit hysteria, but its ok. lol.....
So yes, that was our adventure for the evening. :) It took half an hour to get the stinkin' thing back in....well, for us to TRY to get it in. We eventually gave up and let it fall. Only a little minor damage was done to the outside. :) It still runs fine. Heres a clue...don't worry about dirty windows in the summer time. lol!!

What Does Not Kill You Makes You Stronger

Wow, along with everything else that has happened recently, I remembered this: 6 months ago today, my dog, Buddy, was hit by a truck on our road. :( This is a picture of him taken the day he was hit...actually, about 5 hours before he was hit. It was quite the trial, but a wonderful example of God's grace and mercy. He'll not give us more then we can bear.

If God Sees The Sparrows Fall...

No one likes trials.
Well, normal people do not. :)
Nevertheless, trials come and trials go. Lots of the time, they come at inopportune moments.
Sadly, my friends and I found ourselves wrapped up in a small trial a few days ago. We got caught up in "liking" people. There is nothing wrong with teen crushes...I'd be worried about you if you didn't have them. :) But, playing the dating game is to stressful and unnecessary for kids. And, no matter how much we try to deny it, teenagers are kids! We may be slightly more mature then the elementary age, but not my that terribly much.
I've learned a lot over the past week or so. At this point and time in my life, I don't need a "relationship" or the stress it would bring to my life. After having my emotions raked over the coals, I've decided that it is not worth it. :( It hurt to much and to deeply :( God has a husband already picked out for me, and until He shows me who that guy is, I'll stick with my horse thank you. :) Oh, I'm sure I'll "like" other guys between today and my wedding (lol), but for the time being, I'm good with how life is sailing.
One of my dearest friends told me this, "I would like to sit down with all the girls of the youth group and tell you all a little story about a girl named Ann that had a romance when she was 17 -I learned a lot about God's grace, His mercy and his love. And how much we need to protect our hearts from what satan would want to do to ruin us from being ready for the "true love" that God is molding for us. I know God has someone special for you - His timing is best - and His guy is best!!!......"
What my friend said is so true! God's timing is best...always has been, always will be. Though I sometimes think about the past couple of weeks and whistfully think about what might've been, I'm glad God protected me from to much heartache.

We'll never forget

Wow, how in the world is it August already?! But, with August comes one of my favorite things of the year....BIBLE BOOT CAMP!!!
YAY!!
Boot camp was a raging success last year, and looks to be even bigger next week! I'm going to be workin' my puppet, Chloe :), playin' a silly character named Lucy, (Wait till you see the pix of me in that outfit! lol) and teaching the 6-8 year old along with one of my bffs Michaila. :) Pix of all of this soon to come!!
Anyhoo, you might be wondering why I put this pic of the POW/MIA flag, huh? Well, topday my mom, brother, and I went up into the top of the barn to dig out all of our boot camp supplies that we had stored there. As I opened various boxes, I came upon this flag. (Well not EXACTLY but you know what I mean!) I'd seen it before of course, but I'm ashamed to say I had no idea what it meant. So I, always the curious one, asked my mom what it stood for. And what she told me almost brought me to tears.
"POW" stand for "Prisoners Of War" and "MIA" is "Missing In Action"
As she explained further, I found out that it meant lots of soldiers had been taken captive during the Vietnam war, and were never found. Most likly they were taken to prison camps, while others must've died. Some may still be alive today, being held in a torturous camp somewhere in Vietnam. It brings me to tears even now, and long after my mom left the barn, I sat and contemplated what she'd told me. I prayed for the soldiers that might still be there, and for the ones that had died. My grandfather was in Vietnam....one of those men could've easily been him. Uncle Ron, a wonderful friend of our family, was there. He could have been taken. But God was watching out for them. I thank Him for bringing them safely home.
To everyone who reads this that served in Vietnam, Thank You. Words are inadequate to describe the sacrifices you made for us.
Those who are serving in Iraq right now, the same goes for you. I thank God everyday for your loyalty and patriotism.
As for the ones who have never been found...We will never forget you and what you did for America.
For those who gave their lives...It was not in vain. Rest In Peace.
Here is a poem I wrote...I hope you guys like it. I've entitled it simply "For Freedom" and dedicated it to soldiers all over the USA..........
Standing tall, standing proud, Never flashy, never loud.
In the distance a flag waves high, And they hear the bugle cry.
Unashamed the tears fall free, From many a spouse on bended knee,
Praying to God in Heaven above,To bring back the ones they dearly love.
The risk is there the cost is high. For freedom they would gladly die!
All so we can live in peace, Will the violence never cease?
They watch the Eagle fly above And know what they do is out of love.
A love for a Country, strong and grand,Where freedom is simply a part of the land.
Is our life so instant and fastThat we have forgotten all of our past?
We must always remember and never forget,The freedom fires were not always lit.
And that is why for freedom they fight,Until that blessed day or night,
When God will take us thru the door, That leads to no more suffering and war.

Toujours Votre........

Eeyore!
Last fall ('07)

My first horse, Tucker, and Eeyore.........

This morning at about 7:30 my friend AK and I headed down to the barn for a morning ride. After getting on Beloved in the indoor, I walked her outside and was hit with the strongest desire to gallop...and not ever stop. :) A little early morning fog was rolling in, the air was cool and crisp and both LoveBug and I were in good moods. I decided to play it safe though, so I didn't run pell mell up the hill. But. I did do a great amount of thinking while I was walking around in the cool Maine air. My thoughts drifted to memories.....some good, some bad.

I thought about how much simpler life had been when I got my first horse. I was a 13 year old, care free, silly (slightly "ditzy") kid. Most of that is still true...lol I sadly thought of Tucker and Eeyore and how much I miss both of them. I thought about when I first ever came to LCS. How different things have become!! Its amazing....in a good and sad way. Sometimes I miss the quiet times of the day, when no one was around and it was just me and the girls. :) I wouldn't trade how things are now for anything though!

Anyhoo, as I thought about all of this, I thought about change and how much I hate it. Fear it is a better word I suppose. Since I was a little kid I've feared and hated any kind of change. But I took comfort in this: No matter how much life changes, God will never ever change. He will always be there for you, and me and everyone else that chooses to accept Him. God has been so good to me; He gave me wonderful friends and a great family, a wonderful house and a horse that amazes me more every day.

So, what does the title of this post have anything to do with this stuff? Everything. :) "Toujours Votre" simply means "Forever Yours" because I will forever be God's and He will forever be my Heavenly Father. No matter what, that will never change.
