I stare out my bedroom window,
To the sound of falling rain,
I thank God for my life,
So wonderfully free of pain.
Not everyone is as blessed,
As God allowed me to be.
Many don’t have mothers
Like the one God gave to me.
She gives to me so much,
She’s way above the rest,
She’s been with me through it all,
Through every trial and test.
I love my mom so much,
She’s my dearest and best friend,
I don’t know what I’d do,
If one her I couldn’t depend.
……….
But if some day in this life,
Jesus calls one of us away,
You’ll still be my mommy,
And I’ll think of you everyday.
My love for you is strong,
This fact I hope you know,
And as the years go by,
It will do nothing but grow.
