We didn't get a real vacation this year cause of a lot of busyness, so we decided to visit the big apple all day tomorrow!

One long year.....

Today, Buddy our boxer, has been gone for one year.

He was hit by an SUV on our road, after we'd only owned him for one week. :(

It was probably the hardest for me....I had to watch him get hit. I was running up the road after him, calling and trying to get him to come. He finally stopped and turned to look at me. But when he did, he was in the middle of the road. He stood there staring back at me and almost in slow motion, the SUV topped the hill and he rolled up under before anyone knew what was happening. I knew that I was screaming, but only until later did Michaila tell me how bone-chilling they were. She said they echoed in her dreams for a long time.

I wrote this poem for him...I called it....

Too Late

I screamed your name, but it was too late.
I feared I already knew your fate.
The screech of brakes, your look of fear,
Time stood still as the car drew near.

You ran so fast you seemed to fly,
There was no way you could hear my cry.
I cried your name, told you to wait!
But as before, I was too late.

I looked and looked for a glimpse of you,
But there was nothing I could do.
The search was hopeless from the start,
What if I don't want to part?

I still have hope I'll find you one day
I'll never cease to watch and pray.
And if what I find brings tears to my eyes,
I'll try to silence my heartbreaking cries.

Snow Day =)

We had a snow day today!!! Nice and all I know, but this also means school on Friday this week :( Oh well, can't complain when I get out May 22nd and everyone else is June 22nd. lol ^_^ Sorry, just had to rub that in a lil bit. ^_^ I totally redecorated my room today!!!! Which made me happy :) I also watched a bunch of NCIS episodes (my 2 FAVORITE ones being among them) which made me happier :) lol

Well I'll stop babbling...I just wanted to put up a new post.

My dad did absolutly EXCELLENT at Share-A-Thon to God be the Glory, and next year I get to go with him!!!!! ^_^ YAYAYAYAY!!! lol

On Thursday my Dad will be preaching LIVE on a radio station in North Carolina called WGCR...you can watch him online at http://www.wgcr.net/sat09!!

Pray for him, hes sick and flying out tomorrow. :(

WGCR is a wonderful station that will bless your heart....all this week is their special once a year fundraiser called Share-A-Thon...go on and listen to them, especially this Thursday!!!!!

Lets not live and dwell in the past, because nothing we do can change it.

Lets not worry about Tomorrow, because whats going to happen is in God's Hands.

Pretty canter huh? Looks can be deceiving! We were galloping right there and I was trying my hardest to slow her down (thus the hideously straight knees!!)
